Toi" project proposed by 'Collectif 12', Mantes La Jolie, France. |

I: March - April 2002
Research,
in and around Beirut Central District, of a "red line" drawn on a map after
a summary of 100 surveys defining an unreachable area during the Lebanese
War (1975-1990). These surveys were made by Rana Haddad in 1993 with 50
persons living in Beirut and 50 former beirutis living in London. Establishment
of proposals based the on the personal experiences of the workshop's students. |

| Finding
our place in Beirut Central District has been impossible for us. For many
reasons. While the painted cows projects fits easily in Martyr's Square,
the Martyrs Monument has been waiting in a parking lot for 10 years. Everybody
is not finding his place in the city. So came the idea of a space on paper
that could fit Atelier de Recherche
ALBA's students proposals for the "Chez Moi Chez Toi" project.
A space open to the following persons invited to present their personal,
subjective and related to their city experience definition of a word. |
